Afterpay, as the title sponsor of Australian Fashion Week, wanted to ignite the conversation about what their involvement meant for the future of fashion. So, we invited key media, influencers and VIP retailers to an intimate dinner to signal the start of AAFW21.
At the event, we unveiled the 'Animator Overcoat' – an Australian-first collaboration between iconic Australian designer Toni Maticevski and the world's leading digital fashion house, The Fabricant.
To launch the return of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in 2021, Red Bull athlete and Australian cliff diving champion Rhiannan Iffland signed on to execute a world-first dive from a moving hot-air balloon in regional NSW.
To amplify the radical stunt, we created a multi-layered PR campaign which generated mass coverage across key broadcast, news and sports publications nationwide. We told the story of Rhiannan’s inspiring drive to push the boundaries and succeed in a male-dominated sport, ultimately driving further brand affinity for Red Bull.
At a time when sporting events around the world were being cancelled, gyms were shutting down and the public were encouraged to stay at home, we had an opportunity to drive awareness of Nike’s free digital ecosystem of fitness apps.
We leveraged Nike athletes, trainers and coaches to create and amplify a series of unique workout content. This included a very special Instagram Live dance-class workshop with world-renowned artist, dancer and choreographer Parris Goebel (who works with Justin Bieber and J-Lo).
Even when Greater Sydney was experiencing the worst drought on record, OGB's research showed that many people still thought it was an issue that really only affected regional and rural areas.
So, in order to raise awareness of how important it was for all Sydneysiders to safeguard our most precious resource, we partnered with renowned aerial photographer Eugene Tan (Aquabumps) to give Greater Sydney a 'helicopter view' of the true state of the drought.
A series of striking images from Clovelly to Eastern Creek showed dry headlands and backyards, and served as a visual reminder that drought affects all of us and our water is too precious to waste.
